FFK Calls Buhari 'Mumu' Over EFCC's Alleged Abduction Of His Wife, Baby...Says God'll Punish Him

Former Aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has poured harsh words on President Muhammadu Buhari who he insinuated hates him, adding that “Mumu Buhari” should leave his wife, Precious Chikwendu, and eight-month-old son, Aragorn, and other members of his family alone.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, had explained that the wife of the ex-minister was arrested for attempting to withdraw money from an account which the agency had frozen.

But while calling on the President to face him directly as a man, the former spokesman of ex-president Goodluck Jonathan’s 2015 Campaign Organization stated that even in a war situation, the wife and children of the enemy are spared from aggression.

He stated this in an article titled: “a hater of women and a president from the dark ages” which reads in part, “Somebody should tell Mumu Buhari to stop sending his goons to abduct other peoples wives and 8 month old infant babies and to stop trying to traumatise them, lock them up and destroy their lives simply because they are married to or fathered by opposition politicians and those he hates.

”He should leave my wife. Even in war the wives and children of the enemy are out of bounds.

“The truth is that Buhari is nothing more than a coward and a bully and he will suffer the consequences of his actions because God will punish him.

“I give thanks to the Living God, the fearless lion that is known as Governor Ayo Fayose and the good people of Ado Ekiti for saving the lives of my loved ones and protecting them from the barbaric and illegal actions and tyranny of the fascists of the EFCC.

The European Union has supported a Referendum for Biafra, and has called for such referendum to be carried out within 90 Days. EU says it will only recognize Biafra born out of international Law through the Referendum and not armed rebellion.

They also called on Nigeria to release all political prisoners, and for Nigeria to respect Human Rights of all citizens and to withdraw from using the military to crack down on demonstrators. The EU said that while it has strong ties with Nigeria, “protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms remains a priority for the EU and we encourage the authorities [Nigeria] in every occasion to respect such rights.” Federica Mogherini, European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security has replied Biafra agitators and the Organization of Emerging African States (OEAS) over their call for a referendum. The OEAS had earlier requested that the European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security utilizes their good office to help bring about a referendum for Biafra’s independence.

Why I can’t disclose what my govt gave Boko Haram for Chibok girls – Buhari

President Buhari has denied knowledge of what his government exchanged with Boko Haram for the 21 abducted Chibok girls, saying he would need to return from Germany to be fully briefed.
“This is what I don’t know until I go back. I said the release is on the morning I left and this is not something we will discuss on the telephone,” Mr. Buhari said in the interview with German broadcaster, Deutsche Welle.
Twenty Chibok girls were released on Thursday and some government officials said the administration did not give Boko Haram anything in return.
The Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, denied a report that the government released Boko Haram detainees for the girls.

“Please note that this is not a swap. It is a release,” Mr. Mohammed told reporters Thursday.
Mr. Mohammed said President Buhari assigned the State Security Service to proceed with the negotiation and credited the release to “painstaking negotiations and trust on both sides”.
During the exchange with Mr. Buhari, Deutsche Welle’s Phil Gayle asked the president if he was aware of an exchange of Boko Haram commanders for the girls as widely reported in the media.
“Until I go back, I will receive a formal briefing on how the negotiations went,” Mr. Buhari said. “As soon as I go back home I will find out the written confirmation of how it all went.”
The president had stated his readiness to negotiate with the terrorists but only after their genuine leaders are identified.
Mr. Buhari traveled to Germany on Thursday for talks with that country’s leader, Angela Merkel.
He returned to Abuja on Saturday

"Listen To Your Wife, She Is Closer To You" -- Lawmakers Tell Buhari

Some members of the House of Representatives, yesterday, threw their weight behind wife of the President, Mrs Aisha Buhari, for her bravery in speaking out on the state of the All Progressives Congress, APC-led administration in Nigeria.

The lawmakers’ verdict was unanimous at the weekend as they advised President Muhammadu Buhari to listen to his wife’s counsel and use it to better his administration.

Chairman of the House Committee on Legislative Budget, Timothy Golu, in his reaction to the first lady’s interview with BBC, said Mrs. Buhari was closer to her husband than any other person and as such, understood him better.

He said: “She’s drawing her husbands attention to issues that sycophants around him would not tell him. But she has come out with the truth and is saying it because she loves the husband.”

“She is closer to the man (Buhari) more than any other person and since she has voiced this out, the husband should take it and review some of his actions and decisions.

“It will not be good for the President to ignore the complaints from the wife. She has been with him and is disturbed by certain things happening around the husband, so it’s natural for her to talk.”

Speaking almost in the same vein, Ehiozuwa.Johnson Agbonayinma, Egor/Ikpoba Okha Federal constituency, said the first lady’s interview had vindicated most of them who had continuously maintained that the President had been hijacked by a cabal.

He called on Nigerian women to rally round the first lady and support her “in her campaign to save Nigeria from the hands of a few selfish individuals.”

He also noted that the first lady must have swallowed her worry for long and had decided to speak out in frustration.
